Shoichi Uchiyama

Shoichi Uchiyama established his own company Shoichi Uchiyama Design Office in 1977 specialising in lighting design. His form of expression is strict and functional and is based on minimalist Japanese aesthetics. Shoichi Uchiyama has won several prizes, among others the German iF Award and the Japanese Good Design award.
